What started out as a 20-minute walk in the neighborhood ended up as a 50-minute jog. Did it feel good? You betcha! The weather was beautiful and the air was crisp. Nothing beats that feeling of complete relaxation, relief, and inner peace. Those of you who’ve read my past blogs know that I have a love/hate relationship toward running, but I think I might be falling in love.
Yep, this slow poke –> ME –> is falling in love. With what?! Running!!! It’s hard for me to swallow too, but I just realized that it’s one of God’s best gift to us — the ability to move our body and run with nature. I felt so blessed this morning when I woke up and took a mini stroll at 5 am under the dark clear sky with shimmering stars. I felt even more blessed after running in the afternoon. Life is good. Let’s take care of our body, our spirit, our mind and live a healthy, happy, and exceptional life. Cheers!
Here’s a link to some awesome tips that will help you run for a longer duration than you think you can. Most things are mental. Running is one of them.
P.S. I’m actually training for the marathon this time! Woohoo! *pats myself on the shoulder*

I love what I’ve been reading in your bogs! And I totally relate to the whole love hate relationship with running. Hate the torture of enduring through the pain of the run but love the feeling of accomplishment after! It’s totally a mind thing. Thanks for sharing! Keep writing! =)
Im not a runner but I did the http://www.jaydenicole.com diet and wrkout plan and they have videos to show you how to do your workout correctly and that really helped me run better, I lost almost 7lbs the first week!
